Terms of Use

Draft prepared for review. This text must be checked and approved by RISA legal counsel before launch.

01About these terms

These Terms of Use apply when you use the RISA Smart Ambulance website, call the RISA helpline or request a RISA ambulance. By using any of these, you agree to these terms.

“RISA”, “we” and “us” mean RISA Smart Ambulance, with its office at 307, Satyam 1, Amba Business Park, behind Trimandir, Adalaj, Gujarat 382421.

02Emergencies come first

Website forms, email and social media are not watched for emergencies. Never use them to ask for urgent help.

03What RISA provides

RISA runs a connected ambulance network. We take your request, assign a verified ambulance with the right level of care, share trip and patient information with the receiving hospital, and support the trip until handover.

Ambulances on the RISA network are run by RISA or by partner fleets verified against the RISA Standard. RISA is available in Ahmedabad, Gandhinagar and Gurgaon.

04No promise on arrival time

Traffic, weather, road access and demand affect how quickly an ambulance can reach you. Any arrival time we share is an estimate, not a promise. We do not guarantee that an ambulance will be available or will arrive by a given time.

05Requesting an ambulance

  • Give us accurate details about the patient, the location and how to reach you.
  • The care level is confirmed on the call based on what you tell us. Our crew may change it after seeing the patient.
  • When it is medically necessary, the patient may be taken to the nearest suitable hospital rather than the one you chose.
  • A crew may wait or withdraw if a scene is unsafe, until it is safe to proceed.
  • The patient, or a family member or guardian for the patient, decides whether to accept care, except where the law says otherwise.

06Fares, payment and cancellation

Fares follow the published fare guide on the Fares and Payment page. Where possible, we tell you the fare before the trip. You will receive an invoice with applicable taxes.

If you cancel after an ambulance has been sent, a cancellation charge may apply as set out in the fare guide.

07Your responsibilities

  • Do not make false or hoax calls. They take an ambulance away from someone who needs it, and may be reported to the police.
  • Treat crews, drivers and call takers with respect. We may stop service if they are threatened or abused.
  • Do not misuse the website, try to break its security, copy it with automated tools or upload harmful code.
  • Do not pretend to be someone else or give false information.

08Information on this website

Content on this website is general information. It is not medical advice and does not replace a doctor. First aid tips are for guidance only. Always follow the instructions of the call taker and crew.

09Hospital and fleet partners

Partner hospitals and fleets are also bound by their written agreements with RISA. If those agreements and these terms differ, the agreement applies.
